The Medina: The Medina or old city, surrounded by walls is a maze of intricated narrow lanes. There you’ll find the bright and shiny colours of the souks, the goldsmith’s street, the blacksmith’s district, the dyers’s souk, the chouaris, who are woodcraftsmen…and so many more things you will discover at the turn of the numerous streets.

Jemaa el fna square: Right in the heart of the medina you will find yourself in jemaa el fna square. The most extraordinary one in the whole maghreb.It is the main pole of attraction of Marrakech. The liveliest place, an open air theatre, shops, foodstalls, cartloads of juicy sweet oranges, snake charmers, gnawa dancers, the show never stops…just sit back ,relax at one of the numerous terraces surrounding the scenery…. 

The Koutoubia: After crossing this human sea, you discover the koutoubia, a stunning minaret,70 meters high, crowned with for golden globes. This square tower displays differents decoration on each sides. Further along your eyes is caught by the turquoise blue colour of the El-Mansour’s mosquee minaret, then one masterpiece of Morroccoan architecture: The palace of the Bahia.

The Gueliz: the new city, outside the walls, is spread along the Mohammed V avenue, the main artery. Hiring a horsecab, you ride to the Majorelle’s garden of bright colours of blue and green. Then later you will enjoy the peace of the Menara and its olive tree garden, sitting by the pool, a quiet place.

The palm-grove: Afar sleeps the vast palmgrove. Further away, the peaks of the Atlas let you dream of other wonders, the rose valley, the casbahs, the pisé houses of the mountain villages….
